start of our TruDot System™. The Digital Waterproof™ is calibrated to match our analog
proofing system. The proofs can be customized to match the expected results of your printed
products, providing high quality and cost savings.
PCC Flexocal Imaging
At the heart of Pen & Inc.’s TruDot System™ is the PCC FlexoCal™ Software
that controls our imagesetters. With FlexoCal™, dots are imaged rounder
and more uniform, making them easier to hold on plates and print cleaner
on press.
Olec Exposure
Our Olec High Definition Exposure Unit utilizes a “point light” system that forms a high
resolution dot structure. This system produces a controlled, strong shoulder that keeps even
the lowest percentage dot from distorting.
Betaflex
Analyzing our products and your results are key elements of our TruDot
System™. Using the BetaFlex 333 we precisely measure the negative dot
size the plate dot size, and the dot size on your final printed piece. This
enables us to customize a dot gain compensation curve for your specific
needs. It allows for improved process control and will improve your
print quality.
